Delhi Public School Ghaziabad (DPSG) is a private educational institution in Ghaziabad, India, established in 1980. In the early 2000s, DPSG became the first school in the National Capital Region and western Uttar Pradesh districts to receive an ISO certification. The school is built on of land, and features an enrollment of 3000. ==History== Delhi Public School Ghaziabad was founded by Mr. Om Pathak, the then District Magistrate of Ghaziabad in 1980, with support from Sh. Dharamvira and Lt. Colonel Dr. GPS Waraich, the then Principal of DPS, Mathura Road. The Delhi Public School Ghaziabad Society was registered under the Presidency of Sh. Dharamvira, the then president of the Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi with Sh. Om Pathak, as member. The school commenced operations in a hired building in Raj Nagar on 5 September 1980. The foundation stone of the new building was laid by Sh. Dharamvira, on the 19th of April, 1981 and soon thereafter, the school shifted to its present locale. Since its affiliation to the CBSE in 1985, 21 batches of class XII have passed through the portals of the school. DPSG is the first school in NCR to get ISO 9001:2000 certification by the international body Det Norske Veritas. In 1999 another branch of DPSG was set up in Vasundhara.
